Detached villa. c1830 Portland Estate St John's Wood villa development. Stucco;
slate roof. Cottage Orne Tudor-Gothic. 2 storeys. 4 irregular bays wide.
Entrance in 2nd bay from left, with enclosed porch with 2 4-centred headed
arches inscribed in wide 4-centred archway - the left arch open as porch proper
and right hand one as window; weathered coping to parapet. Above porch the bay
is finished with bargeboarded gate. To left of porch front breaks forward with
chimney breast and stack. To right are 2 bays, outer one slightly set back,
each with ground floor mullioned-transomed canted oriels with shaped pent
roofs, and 2 light casements on lst floor, under overhanging eaves. Similar
details with bargeboarded gabled break to Woronzow Road return. Similar villa
type to the adjoining Eyre Estate.
