House. 1637 on datestone, extended C20. Course limestone rubble with wooden
lintels; concrete plain-tile roof with brick gable stacks. 3-unit plan,
extended. 2 storeys plus attic. 3-window front has old 2-light casements at
first floor (2 with leaded glazing) and at ground floor has a 3-light casement
plus two C20 French windows. Steep-pitched roof has 2 hipped roof dormers. Right
gable wall has a datestone inscribed "IW/1637". Rear has renewed casements. C20
rear wing returns from left. Interior: 2 open fireplaces; stop-chamfered joists
and beams; spiral stair rising to attics; fielded-panel doors and shutters. C20
range is not of special architectural interest.
