1. LONDON ROAD 1746 No 77 77 TQ 5839 NW 3/51 20.5.52 II 2. Early C19. 3 storeys and semi-basement painted brick. Hipped slate roof and renewed parapet. Stringcourse above 1st floor. 3 sashes with glazing bars missing. Wooden balcony with hood on the 1st floor. Below it is a porch, now glazed, with fluted columns, iron railings fronting it and a flight of steps with a handrail originally on both sides, only that to the north side remains. Rectangular fanlight. The side elevation is tile-hung. Flanking the ground floor and basement are walls with segmental parapets curved up to the sides of the house, with brick pilasters on the outside of these walls and round-headed arches in the centre, of which the south arch contains a window.
