Terrace of houses. Mid C18. Two storeys, and dormers. Two windows wide. Brown
brick. Red gauged flat arches to recessed windows. Wood doorcases with moulded
heads. Tiled mansards, No 15 slated. No 16 bears tablet commemorating the manufacture
of Chelsea porcelain in this street 1745-84, and reference to residence of Tobias
Smollet, novelist, 1750-62. Forms a group with No 2 Justic Walk. Survey of London,
Vol IV).
