Farmhouse. C17. Rendered timber frame masked with plain tile roof,
originally thatched. Two storeys. Baffle-entry plan. Road front:
gabled wing at far right slightly projecting with a 3-light C19
casement window to the ground floor and a similar window to the first
floor. Above is a jettied gable supported on brackets all covered in
pebble-dash render as is the rest of the facade. To the left of this
are two bays with a C19 1/2-glazed door to right of centre with gabled
porch over. To left of this are two 3-light casement windows. Two
raking dormer windows of C19 date to the first floor. Ridge chimney
stack to left of centre. Rear: projecting gabled wing at left with
corner posts and jettied first floor with 2-light casement window at
right. To right of all this is a recessed wing which is mainly masked
by a C19 lean-to with corrugated roof at left and another at the far
right. Doorway to right of centre and window to right of this.
Interior: Ovolo-moulded ceiling beams to two ground floor rooms and
an ingle nook fireplace to the parlour.
