Rectory. 1818/20, probably by J. Teasdale. Squared coursed limestone with ashlar
facade and slate roof. Double depth plan. Regency style. 2 storeys. Main front
of 3-window range. Central glazed doors with arch-head fanlight flanked by
columns. Flanking arch sash windows with glazing bars, one set in arch-head
recess. Drip moulds over ground floor openings. Sash window at first floor, also
with glazing bars. Raised string course between floors. Hipped roof with
rendered brick lateral stacks at ends. Elevation to left of main front has sash
windows and a central porch with attached columns supporting a frieze and
cornice. Rear altered mid C20. Interior not inspected. Original drawings of
house are signed by J. Teasdale.
