Store. 1936 and 1939. W Crabtree, Slater Moberly and C H Reilly. Concrete, glass and
metal. Seven storeys. Corner site, with curved corner. Plate grass to ground floor
beneath cantilevered canopy. First to fourth storeys with narrowly spaced mullions
filled with glass and white panelling. Fifth storey recessed with cantilevered canopy
and narrow glazing. Bronze balustrade above and tubular metal railings above sixth
floor. Bronze trim to ground floor canopy. Words "Peter Jones" in sans serif to white
