Early C17 origin. Originally one house. Rubble with ashlar quoins. Stone slate
roof. L-shaped, later brick extension. Two storeys and attics. Two stone and
brick chimneys. Modern buttress to quoin of No 38. Three windows, one blocked,
in stone rusticated surround with C19 three-light casements, wood mullions. Wood
lintels. Four panel door with wood lintel. One blocked original stone mullion
window in gable.
