Terraced town house. c1770 with some early to mid C19 alterations. Portland
Estate development. Stock brick with channelled stucco ground floor; slate
roof. 4 storeys, basement and dormered mansard. 2 windows wide. Semicircular
arched doorway to left with architrave and consoles carrying arch moulding;
panelled door and radial patterned fanlight. Recessed sashes with stucco
architraves to upper floors, those on 1st floor with cornices on consoles and
bracketed sills to 2nd floor. Plat band over ground floor stuccowork. Parapet
with coping. Cast iron bombé balcony across 1st floor. Cast iron area railings
with plumbed spike finials. Interior retains delicately turned baluster cut
string staircase, some plasterwork and chimneypieces, etc.
