Farmhouse, now house. Circa 1800, altered. Coursed squared sandstone with
some quoins, slate roof, brick chimneys. Double-depth 4-room plan. Two
storeys and 3 bays, symmetrical; central doorway with pedimented Tuscan
doorcase, 2 windows at ground floor and 3 above, all with raised plain
surrounds and all now top-hung casements with glazing bars; gable copings
with kneelers; gable chimneys. Left return wall has a similar window and a
former doorway altered as a window. Rear has an inserted doorway and square
window to 1st bay, a tall stair window with arched head and intersecting
glazing bars, and 3 small windows at 1st floor.
Interior: altered. (Repairs in progress at time of survey (1987), following
subsidence damage).
