House. Mid/late C17 extended C19. Squared coursed lias with stone slate roof.
Originally 2-unit plan, at right angles to road. 2 storeys with attic. Main
front of 2 bays, one-window range with leaded casement to ground floor and
3-light stone mullion windows to first floor. Ashlar gable parapets and
kneelers. One-unit, single-storey extension, is probably C19 and has C20 door.
Rear elevation has a 3-light stone mullion windows, with transom, to ground and
first floor left, and C20 roof dormer to attic. Lateral stack, to right of rear
elevation, is partially rebuilt in brick. Gable, to right of main front has
2-light stone mullion window to attic. Walls attached to south, east and west
are probably of late C17 origin, restored C19. 2-stage buttresses. Section of
wall attached to east has truncated, gatepier with ball finial and encloses part
of garden with walls at Manor Farmhouse and attached walls and gatepiers to east
and west (q.v.). Interior not inspected but noted as having C17 panelling, hall
fireplace with chamfered stone surround, parlour fireplace with 4-centred
arch-head and moulded stone surround and first floor fireplace with bolection
moulded wood surround.
