Vicarage. c.1830, possibly by L. Vulliamy. Ashlar front, hammer-dressed stone
to sides, slate roof. Originally of 2 storeys with added 3rd storey 1859, now
reduced to 2. An engraving c.1840 shows the building with only 2 storeys as at
present. (Illustrated in F. Kershaw Todmorden Parish Church, (Todmorden 1982)
p.8.). Plinth, string, eaves string with gutter brackets. Gothic Revival 3-bay
symmetrical front. Door and windows have 4-centred arched lintels with Gothic
glazed fan-lights. Windows retain 16-pane sashed windows with hoodmoulds.
Ashlar porch with pierced balustrade. Return walls have 2 bays of similar
windows to each floor. Rear has 2 similar centrally-placed windows to
staircase. Hipped roof with 2 stacks.
