SD 9324 TODMORDEN (former M.B.) PLEASANT VIEW

House. Mid C18. Rubble brought to course, stone slate roof. 2 storeys. Large
quoins. South front has inserted doorway next to 2-light chamfered mullioned
window with same over (lacking mullion). Original door entry with heavy lintel
and composite jambs blocked to window with single light over. Right hand return
wall has broad gable for double pile single-cell cottage. Stack to ridge. Rear
has 3-light chamfered mullioned window formed of 2-wide fixed lights with
smaller central light formerly sashed. Doorway with monolithic jambs. 2 sashed
windows to 1st floor.
