SHEVINGTON WIGAN ROAD SD 50 NW (south side) 4/114 Barn to west of - Club House Farmhouse G.V. II Barn. Date stone reads: " To FPT/1660". Painted stone rubble with some brick and slate roof. 4-bay barn with cow house under cat-slide roof to north and C20 lean-to garage to south. East gable end of brick with quoins, window, entrance and pitching hole; date stone over entrance. North facade has barn doors and windows with small-paned glazing to left; cow house to right has large entrance to east end. Interior has tie beam and strut trussses, those 2 adjoining cow house on posts with braces; wind braces. Small ventilation slots. East bay has inserted floor with partition for stable.
