Cottage, probably mid C17, much altered C19 and (internally) C20. Oak
small-panel frame, partly replaced in painted brick and partly on a
sandstone plinth. Thatched roof. 1 storey plus attic bedrooms; of 3
cells. 2 small-pane C19 cast iron casements to lower storey and 2 to
upper storey. Replaced door. Rear wall and right gable wall are
in brick. At rear is a small C20 brick extension. The thatch
(formerly with a gabled dormer to right bedroom)now has an eyebrow
dormer. 2 ridge chimneys and chimney on right gable, of brick.
Interior: In right parlour is a large chamfered oak beam and, against
gable wall, an altered ingle-nook, with stair in corner; 3 doors of
wide oak boards.
