1790. 3-storeys. Stucco and slated. Sashes, 3 on 1st floor with pilastered
surrounds. Plain stringcourse. Moulded cornice and parapet. Doorway to left
hand with fluted columns and moulded and dentilled pedimented hood. To right hand
3 round-headed windows, centre 2 coupled, middle one probably originally a doorway.

From the land, Nos 1 & 2 form a group with the Pilot Hotel, Bridge Street
and close the vista down Broad Street to the south-east. From the sea the rear
faces of Nos 1 & 2 form a group with the sea walls at Gunn Cliff, the Museum and
the Gui1dhall, Bridge Street.
