This is a fine example of a Victorian Railway Goods warehouse, built around 1875. Thankfully it has a protected status and is a “listed” building meaning that the structure has to be essentially preserved and recognisable.

You can see the opening on the rear of the right side where goods wagons were shunted in for unloading and the two openings on the left facing side where motor or horse drawn vehicles were backed in to be loaded with produce delivered by rail.
This building is just to the North of Newark Castle Station on the Nottingham to Lincoln line.It has been tastefully converted to a few offices and apartments.
