To the north-west and detached from the house are the stables, and to the
north-east a similar building, presumably once the kitchens. These buildings
take the form of pavilions flanking the main portion of the house on its
northern side. Both are square 2 storey buildings, with 5 windows bays on
each side. Some of the windows are blank. Round-headed arches on the ground
floor, some containing lunette windows. The 1st floor windows are square-headed
sash windows. Cemented, the ground floor rusticated. Pilasters at the angles.
Cornice and parapet. Hipped slate roof. A Victorian clock tower has been
added to the stable building. Photographs in NMR.
