House, C16 and early C17. 1 1/2 storeys and attics. 3 cell plan, formerly with
lobby entrance. Timber-framed and rendered. Hipped thatched roof with eyebrow
casement dormers; axial and gable chimneys of red brick. C19 casements.
Boarded entrance door with thatched canopy. Internal layout and framing well-
preserved. The house built in 2 stages; the right hand cell survivies from a
C16 house, and in the late C16 or early C17 the hall was rebuilt, with a small
unheated room beyond to left. C17 open fireplaces added in hall and parlour.
