Row of shops, c.1870. Pitch faced stone with ashlar dressings, slate roof.
Gothic Revival. 3 storeys. Each shop has frontage set between flanking
pilasters. Cornice. 1st floor has a group of 3 lights between each with semi-
circular introdos and pointed extrados, the voussoirs of banded stone.
Crocketed impost band. 2nd floor has stilted segmental headed windows separated
by colonnettes, with similar impost band. Stone gutter brackets to eaves
cornice. The shop fronts appear later but no 47 has shouldered-arched shop
windows which may not be much later in date. 3 stacks to ridge.
