Nos 6 and 7 formerly listed as Fermaine and Handel House respectively.
C16 in origin, refashioned early C19. Front continuous with Tudor House Hotel.
3-storeys. 3 window bays (2 to No 7). Slate gabled roof. Moulded dentiled
and fluted eaves cornice. Painted brick to upper floors, stuccoed stone to ground
floor. On 2nd floor, sash windows 4 panes wide in reveals. On 1st floor, 3-light
sash window at either end with 4 panes wide sash in centre. Coupled centre doorways,
6-panelled door to No 6; modern door to No 7 with modern plate-glass restaurant
window to right of it. Modern ground floor window to No 6 also. Moulded ceiling
beams in ground floor of No 7.

No 1, Tudor House Hotel & Nos 6 to 12 (consec), Church Street form a group.
The north front of the Guildhall forms a stop at the south end of this group.
