2 linked houses. Mid C19. Brick. Stucco dressings. Hipped slate roofs. 3
storeys, each 3 windows wide, with projecting solid sided pilastered porches, to
centre of No 147 and right hand bay of 149. Square headed architraved sashed
windows, glazing bars. Console cornice and parapet to No 147; bracketed eaves
cornice to No 149. No 149 with return to right of 3 main bays. Including taller
projecting block of 4 storeys with pitched roof, deep eaves and blind arched
windows to ground floor, giving Italianate flavour to the whole.
