GV II

Pair of semidetached houses. Circa 1840. Brick. Stucco dressings. Slate
hipped roof to parapet. Each house 2 windows wide plus extra 1-bay 1 storey
projection to outer edge of No 106 and 2 storey 2-bay extension to No 104. 2
storeys, attic and basement. Outer bays of main body set forward slightly with
square headed pilastered and corniced entrances. No 104 with added projecting
Doric porch. Panelled doors. Architraves to square headed windows and doors;
cornices to ground floor. Sashes glazing bars. Cornice above first floor.
Parapet. Pedimental blocking courses to outer 1 and 2 storey bays. Gabled attic
windows to each house. One of a sequence of similar pairs lining Maida Vale.
