Formerly, known as Home Farmhouse. This was the Home Farm of Deepdene. C16
timber-framed house of irregular shape, mostly refaced in red brick and tiles.
A fragment of timbering visible in the north wall; timbering inside. Tiled
roof; chimney breasts. Casement windows, some with small square leaded panes.
Gables to the east and west fronts. 2 storeys and attics in gables. 4 windows.
Modern extension built on to northern end: 1 storey and attic with gable.
1 window above and 4 below. Modern date plaque on east front says farm was
built in 1550s.
