Early C19 house. Local gault brick, roof concealed by parparet with stone coping. Three stacks. Three storeys and basement, five 'bays' with apsidal rear wing of two storeys with basement. Central main entrance approached by four stone steps, plain pilastered stone doorcase with cornice and recessed four panelled door and rectangular fanlight. Five, six-paned recessed, second floor hung sash windows in flat gauged brick arches; similar, twelve-paned windows at second and ground floors. Rear wing has large three-light hung sash window curved to segmental plan.

Interior has original cornices to ceilings with good centre pieces. Plain open-string staircase with raking handrail and slender newel posts. Six-panelled door with embossed panels.
