PLOVER ROAD 1. 5113 (West Side) Lindley Front tower at Wellington Mills SE 1117 26/1084 II 2. Mid C19. Hammer dressed stone. Hipped slate roof, sprocketed, with elaborate and conspicuous cast iron cresting. 4 storeys and attic. Moulded eaves cornice on brackets. Continuous sill bands and impost bands. 2 ranges of round-arched sashes with keystones. Stone-fronted gabled dormer with oculis. Segment-headed arch on ground floor with vermiculated voussoirs and moulded imposts. Frieze above with "Wellington Mills" incised in good serifed lettering. Cast iron gates with fleur-de-lys finials. Spur stones.
