GV II


House. C17 with C19 and C20 additions, rendered and whitewashed brick
with stone dressings. Slate roof. 3 storeys. Entrance front: stone
plinth, brick string course between ground and first floors. 3 gables.
5 windows to ground floor all metal framed C20 replacements. 3
2-light C19 casements to first floor and to attic. C19 bargeboards to
gables. Large C20 addition to left. Late C17 wing to rear; 2 first
floor windows with original leaded 3-light casements.
Interior: Chamfered and end stopped ceiling beams to adjacent
parlours on ground floor both of which have stone fire breasts with
large stone slab lintels. Further chamfered ceiling beams to the
upstairs room and some small framing.
