SJ 87 NW MOBBERLEY C.P. MOSS LANE


7/61 Moss Cottage.

II


House. C18. Red random bond brick with thatched roof. 2-storey
2-cell plan. South east front: 3 bays, central C20 2-light casement
window replacing original front door. Replaced segment-headed 3-light
casement windows to left and right on ground and first floors. 2
gable chimneys. C19 outshut to ground floor at rear. Chamfered
ceiling beams in parlour. Wooden bressumer built into parlour.
Roof structure of purlins and a ridge with plain rafters but no
principals.
