Public house, formerly known as the Dog and Partridge Inn. 2-cell early C18
house with early C19 added bays to either end. Hammer-dressed stone, watershot
to outer bays, stone slate roof. 2 storeys. 4-bay front. 1st bay has quoins.
Double chamfered mullioned window of 2 large lights with same over. Quoins
survive at junction of next bay at 1st floor level. 2nd and 3rd bays are
symmetrical with single storey gabled porch set between; to either side double
chamfered mullioned windows of 2 large lights with flat faced mullion to
ground floor, chamfered to 1st floor. Quoins to junction of 3rd and 4th bays.
4th bay has double chamfered mullioned window of 2 wide lights with same over.
Quoins to angle. 3 stacks to ridge.
