Laithe-house. Early C19. Hammer dressed stone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys.
2-cell house. Each cell has 3-light flat faced mullioned window to both floors
with doorway with tie-stone jambs set between. 2 stacks to ridge. Attached
to left hand end, and roofed continuously is barn with large semi-circular
arched cart entry with small Venetian window over; to either end, mistal
doorways with tie-stone jambs. Arrow slit ventilators. C. F. Stell, p.182-3.
