Timber-framed and plastered house with C18 and later external features. Possibly
with an older core but altered and reduced in size. L shaped on plan with
wings extending to the south-west and south-east. The south-east wing is 2
storeyed and the south-west wing is of one storey and attics. The windows
are partly horizontal sliding sashes and partly double-hung sashes with glazing
bars. The south-west wing has a 2 storeyed bow window on the gable end. The
south-east gable end is faced in brick. Roof tiled, mansard on the south-west
wing, with one sloping roofed dormer. There is a tall central chimney stack.
