Pair of houses. Late C18 built in 2 phases. Red brick; clay tile
roof with coped verges on shaped kneelers; red brick integral and
stacks. 2 parallel ranges. 2 storeys and gable lit attic;
vertical joint in centre; 6 windows; glazing bar sashes to left with
gauged brick heads, to right with lintels grooved as voussoirs and with
raised keys; 6-panelled door to centre of left hand house (Matherfield
House) with oblong over-light; segmental headed door to left of right
hand house (Vicarage).
