House. Probably C18 remodelled in mid C19. Red brick with ashlar quoins and dressings; slate roof; brick ridge stacks. North west elevation: two storeys; 1:1:4 bays; glazing bar sashes with shaped lintels and raised keys, those to right hand bay are blind, projecting two storey bay to left of centre with three-light plate glass sashes; portico with openwork parapet to half glazed door and fanlight; open-work parapet with panelled square piers to each angle.

South elevation: two storeys; 1:1:1 windows, plate glass sashes with shaped lintels grooved as voussoirs and raised keys; recessed central bay flanked by two storey canted bays with first floor sill bands; central glazed door with fanlight, and Corinthian portico distyle in antis supporting a first floor balustraded balcony; first floor round headed French casements with raised key and triangular pediment above; openwork parapet extended over flanking full-height bays, with panelled square piers to each angle and open ogee fretted arches above main window ranges. Formerly the owner's house to Mayfield Mills (not included).
