Gate piers and walls. C18. Ashlar. Carriage entrance to east of Mayfield Hall (qv) flanked by piers of square section with pyramidal caps and sections of coped walling sweeping round to similar end piers broken to the left by a pedestrian gateway; walls lead southwards for approximately 150 yards and westwards for approximately 10 yards, the former has piers at intervals of every 25 to 30 yards, the latter is interrupted by a pedestrian gate flanked by square piers with ball finials.
