Early C17 timber-framed and plastered building with later alterations and
additions. Two storeys. The timber-framing is exposed on the south front
and at the east end of the north front. At the east end of the north and
south fronts the upper storeys is jettied on exposed joists. There are some
old leaded casements. The jettied upper storey on the south front has an
oriel bay window with leaded casements. Roof tiled, with a small gable at
the east end and a tall central chimney stack with attached shafts and a tall
external stack at the east side. (RCHM 14).
