My father was stationed in England during the second World War. Being an artist he made the best of his stay and painted many bitersweet scenes depicting his life there as a soldier from the "Princess Irene Brigade". If you're interested in his artwork made in England during the war visit the website http://www.hermanvandenbosch.nl and go to "zalen" and choose:"De Tweede Wereldoorlog; een traan en een lach". This means "galleries" and' the second world war; a tear and a laugh". If you're interested in history you wont be disappointed. It seams that my father loved the Dudley Arms, in 1942.
