The Horse & Gears public house

GV II

Public house. Early C19. Brick with stone dressings and
concrete pantile roof. Second floor band, wooden gutter on
shaped brackets, 2 brick coped gable stacks. 3 storeys; 4
window range of C20 imitation sashes, that to the right blank.
Above, similar smaller windows, the second and fourth from
left being blanks. Below, 2 imitation sashes flanked to left
by a beaded 4-panel door with overlight, and to right by a
round headed entry with a close boarded door and an ornate
fanlight.
