Terrace of 5 houses, now 4 houses and shop. c1785, with late
C19 and C20 alterations. Brick with stone and stucco dressings
and hipped and gabled pantile roofs. Dentillated eaves, 3
ridge, 2 gable and single rear wall stacks. 3 storeys; 6
window range with, to left, a dummy sash flanked to left by an
imitation sash and to right by a cross casement. To right, 2
glazing bar sashes. All these have multi keystoned lintels. To
right again, a glazing bar sash with segmental head. Above,
similar fenestration with smaller windows. Below, to left, a
pair of altered doors with overlights, flanked to left by an
imitation sash and to right by a cross casement. To right, a
pair of moulded 6-panel doors with overlights, flanked to
right by a plain sash. All these have multi keystoned lintels.
To right again, a late C19 shop window with plain surround and
cornice, and to its right, a glazed door with segmental head.
Right side, to Clinton Street, has to right 2 cross casements
and above, 2 small glazing bar sashes, all with segmental
heads. Below, to left, a C19 shop window with cornice, and to
right, a door converted to a window and beyond, 2 glazing bar
casements, all with segmental heads.
