Library. Circa 1890 incorporating part of early C19 Rectory outbuilding. Thin
courses of sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings; roof of plain tiles with
stone gable copings; stone-flagged roof on outbuilding. Tudor revival style.
One storey, one bay to street and in right return. Elevation to street has
central window with 3 stone-mullioned elliptical-headed lights under label
mould. Gable coping on flat kneelers. Roof extends beyond coping on right
return and has corniced ashlar rear ridge chimney. Right return has shallow
canted bay window of 3 lights in same style as on street front; small square
window at right in stone surround. Attached outbuilding contains elliptical-
headed moulded stone doorway with boarded door.
