2 houses, now shop. Early C19, with late C19 and late C20
alterations. Brick with stone dressings and gabled and hipped
slate roofs. Dentillated eaves, single ridge and 2 rear wall
stacks. 2 storeys; 5 window range with off-centre blank
flanked by 2 small glazing bar sashes, all segment headed.
Below, to right, late C20 panelled wooden shopfront with
recessed central doorway flanked by single pane windows. To
left, a small casement set in a blocked doorway. To left
again, 2 round headed openings with C20 glazed doors. Street
end has a segment headed glazing bar sash on each floor, that
above being smaller. West side has an off-centre single storey
hipped addition with panelled door. To its left, a fielded
6-panel door with overlight, flanked to righ by a segment
headed glazing bar sash. Above, to right, a small 6-pane
light. This building may have been part of the outbuildings of
Northgate House (14).
