Former house and byre, now all one byre, and loose boxes. Late C17 house and
byre; early C19 loose boxes. Roughly-coursed sandstone rubble with quoins and
ashlar dressings; stone-flagged roofs except for one loose box with corrugated
iron roof. L-plan. 2-storey, 5-bay house and byre has chamfered alternate-
block jambs under rough stone lintel to empty doorway in second bay; stone
surround to loft doorway above; empty windows of one, 2 or 3 lights, all with
chamfered stone surrounds, mullions removed and one blocked. Hinge pins to
most openings. Left wing breaking forward has one low storey, 3 bays. Left
return has flat stone lintels over door and 2 windows in gable of 2-storey
part; 3 cast-iron Dutch doors under flat stone lintels to loose boxes.
