Pair of terraced houses. Circa 1890 to 1900. Stone faced, tall pitched green
slate roof. 5 storeys, attic mansard and basement. Each house 2 windows wide.
Entrances to left, segmental headed with rusticated surrounds. Bow windows to
ground floor, segmental to No 1 and square to No 3. First floor balcony with
ornately carved balustrade. Windows architraved; segmental headed to first and
second floors with paired square lights above arched transom. Third floor windows
square headed, fourth segmental headed. Continuous balconies to first and third
floors; individual iron balconies to second and fourth floors. Third and fourth
floors united by paired Ionic console - pilasters between the bays. Casements,
some leaded lights. Heavy console cornice above fourth floor. Balustraded
parapet. Outer attic windows pilastered and gabled. Balustraded roof cresting.
Shafted chimneys. Wrought iron area railings.
