House dating from the mid C17 but much altered mid C19 and mid C20. Hammer dressed stone, stone slate roof. Two storey front with rear single-storey aisle and two storey kitchen wing. Three-room plan with gabled porch. Quoins. Most windows are altered. Main interest is porch with Tudor arched doorway, cyma moulded surround and spandrels. Inner door has Tudor arched lintel with simple top chamfered surround. Coped gable with kneelers and finial to apex. To right of porch is a string course over large altered window with chamfered jambs with three-light chamfered mullioned window over to first floor. Sides and rear rendered. Two-light chamfered mullioned window to rear aisle. Two storey kitchen wing at right angles to main range has coped gable with kneelers and cat-slide roof over side aisle. One other stack.

Interior preserves spine-beam which is reused timber possibly from a cruck building on the site with distinct curve and mortice holes.
