Row of cottages, late C18 converted to form public house and restaurant. Hammer
dressed stone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys. 5 bays with 3-light flat faced
mullioned windows with doorways with monolithic jambs set between bays 1 and 2,
3 and 4, 4 and 5. Left hand return wall has outside stone staircase leading to
1st floor doorway with monolithic jambs with 2-light window to left. 3-light
window to attic. It is likely that the 1st floor room was a former textile
manufacturing shop with living accommodation below. 5 stacks to ridge.
