Former Methodist Chapel, now Sunday School room. 1845, altered
c.1880. Red brick in English bond with painted ashlar dressings,
slate roof. Gable end to road, with dogtooth verge. 3 tall bLank
semi-circular arched recesses with ashlar keystones and impost
blocks. Central projecting gabled porch, c,1880, with semi-
circular outer door, key and impost blocks, dogtooth verge,
flanked by single Gothick glazing bar sashes, in semi-cir.cular
arches with keyblocks. In the gable an ashlar plaque inscribed
"Wesleyan Chapel 1845". In the side walls pairs of glazing bar
sashes with segmental brick heads. The old chapel is linked by a
brick link to the-later Church which is not of special interest.
