Dovecote and byre with barn adjoining. Mid-C18 dovecote and byres in north
range; c.1800 barn at west. Thin courses of mixed rubble with ashlar dressings
and quoins, roofs of stone flags, concrete tiles, and corrugated iron. L-plan.
North range byre of one storey, 2 wide bays, with 2-storey one-bay dovecote at
right. Boarded doors at centre of each bay, under flat stone lintel at left
and in plain stone surround at right; similar plain surround to boarded door at
left of dovecote, and boarded loft door below eaves with pigeon holes and wide
stone shelf; right return has side stone steps to boarded door. Roof has C20
materials on south pitch and stone flags on north of byres; pyramidal dovecote
roof is stone-flagged with dodecahedron finial; central square chimney on byre.
One-storey barn of 3 wide bays projects at left and has central boarded door,
under pecked stone lintel, flanked by ventilation slits; new stone roof. Empty
at time of survey.
