Waiting shed. c.1847 by Benjamin Green for the Newcastle and Berwick Railway.
Ashlar and wood with Welsh slate roof. Single storey with stone side and rear
walls; 4th wall to platform originally open with arcade, later replaced with
wood cladding and long horizontal window with vertical glazing bars. Mono-
pitch roof.
Paved platform with retaining wall.
