16/10002 Barn to rear of Morgan's Farmhouse

GV II

Barn. Probably early C18 reusing some older timbers. Timber framed
barn clad in weatherboarding on red brick plinth. Half-hipped roof now
clad in asbestos sheeting. Central midstrey. Some inserted windows,
including C19 window of small panes to end gable. C20 garage entrance
to end gable. 5 bay barn. Wall frame with diagonal braces. Upright
posts have early C18 cut profile. Angled queen struts, collar beam,
ridgepiece and diagonal braces; rafters substantially intact but some
are softwood.
