Dovecote now churchyard store. Probably C17. Whitewashed red sandstone walls
under greenslate roof with sandstone hips. Square; single storey. Plank door
at side in plain altered opening. Stone shelf halfway up front wall. No other
opening except open gablets in roof. Interior thought to retain some boulins.
Behind vicarage and would have been in the vicarage garden, but now within
extended C20 churchyard. See Transactions Cumberland & Westmorland Antiquarian
& Archaeological Society, old series, ix, pp.428-9.
