Late C18/early C19. Red brick with moulded eaves cornice and slate roof. 1 building
of 3 storeys. 3 windows, sashes of 3 lights with glazing bars. No 37 has mid C19
shop window and door under plain frieze and cornice (over which fascia board has
been added). No 39 has a good bow window with glazing bars. Segmental arched carriages
entrance under south side. Central door with rectangular fanlight with arched panels.
Doorcase has pilasters and flat hood on brackets. Additional southern doors on
South side under window cornice. Fire insurance mark on facade.
All the listed buildings in Burton Street form a group of which Nos 24 to 36 (even)
are of local interst.
